Please note that this page may be updated without notice, so please check back prior to attending the fest. NOTE: By purchasing fest tickets or attending the fest, all attendees agree to any and all rules, restrictions, and forfeit any claims of liability as outlined below. Where is the fest held and how do I get there? Our fest is held on the Bayside of Citrus Avenue and in Burkes of Ireland pub property. Please refer to the map page for directions, parking options and hotel accommodations. Be responsible in your travels, and don't drink and drive. We highly recommend using local cab services. How many people will attend? Expecting over 2,000 Where can I buy tickets? Tickets for festival are available at www.crystalriverbeerfestival.com when they become available or at the gate day of festival. We recommend that you buy your tickets now before they are all sold out. What kind of ID's to you accept? This is a 21+ with valid ID beer fest, and IDs will be checked at the door. Acceptable forms of ID are: US driver license/liquor ID or passport. You must be 21+ w/valid ID to enter. No exceptions. Where are my tickets?! When you purchase your tickets at www.crystalriverbeerfestival.com and after payment is completed, you will be prompted (if you wish) to print out your ticket. If you feel more comfortable printing this then feel free however, we will have a print out of each ticket at the gate the day of the fest. What if I bought tickets but I can't go now? Sorry, as stated when purchased, tickets are non-refundable. Do you accept credit cards or checks at the door? No, In cash we trust. But fret not, there is many ATM machines at several banks just around the corner from venue. What happens when I get to the fest? A line will form outside (on corner of US 19 and Citrus Avenue) of the venue prior to entering the fest. Please follow any instructions if given - like forming a line, etc. While in line it's a good time to get your ID out. You'll need it as you must be 21+ with a valid ID to attend. Once the line gets moving, security will check your ID who will then apply a wristband. Once inside the venue, proceed to the "Dark Arts Beer Fest" committee booth to exchange your ticket for an official "Dark Arts Beer Fest" souvenir tasting cup and fest guide to help you explore the venue, brewers and beers they're free! What's the deal with tasting cups and 2oz pours? Each attendee will receive a tasting cup that entitles them to enjoy 2oz pours, responsibly. "Dark Arts Beer Fest" committee, staff, brewery representatives and security reserve the right to deny service to anyone they deem to be intoxicated. Do I need to buy beer tokens for tastings? No. All beer tastings are included with your ticket. Enjoy 2oz pours, responsibly. When is the last beer poured? Saturday Doors open at 3:00pm beer begins pouring and stops pouring at 7:00pm No exceptions! Is the venue handicapped accessible? Yes. Can I bring my pet? No. Are children allowed? No. This is a 21+ event. Are infants allowed? No. Infants are children. This is a 21+ w/ valid ID event. Do you make provisions for designated drivers? No. This is a beer fest, not a designated driver fest. Please make the proper arrangements to ensure that your journey to and from the fest is a safe and responsible one. Any one of our handy festival HOSTS will be happy to supply or call you a local cab. How can I find a brewery or beer? Our "Dark Arts Beer Fest" guide provides you with a map. Simply look it up, or ask any of our helpful HOSTS. Will any of the beer run out? Quite possibly. All beers are subject to availability, so we cannot guarantee that a beer that you are looking for will be available. Will there be any food? Yes. Can I bring outside food? No. Food is available at the fest for a small fee from fine establishments in the area. Will there be any water? Yes. Will there be a coat check? No. The venue doesn't have an allocated space for this. Can I bring a bag or backpack? Yes. Provided that it's small and doesn't get in the way of other attendees. Your bag may be subject to search or rejected because of size by security. Can I buy or take home beer from the fest? No. It's illegal and we don't have a license for retail sale of beer. Brewers are not allowed to sell, give-away or trade beer. Offenders risk ejection from the fest. Nothing personal. It's the law and rules. I would like to distribute info or product at your fest. No thanks. Solicitation will result in immediate removal from the "Dark Arts Beer Fest". I'd like to buy a booth to (sell a product or promote a service). No thanks our focus is on the brewers and their beer. Can I buy beer at the fest? No. It's illegal for brewers to sell and/or giveaway beer at the fest. Can I bring beer (to trade) to the fest? No. Doing so will raise security and legal issues that could result in confiscation of the beer and your being asked to leave the "Dark Arts Beer Fest". Lost & Stolen Items "Dark Arts Beer Fest" committee and the venue will not be held liable for any and all lost or stolen items. Please keep your personal items secure. Injuries "Dark Arts Beer Fest" committee and the venue will not be held liable for any and all damages caused by attendees to themselves, others, or property during or after the event. |
